Akhet collects no personal data. Everything is computed entirely on your device: the calendar maths, the solar engine, the cartouche, the spoken reading.

What we collect

Nothing. Akhet has no server, no account, and no analytics. There is no advertising and no tracking of any kind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

Location

The sundial and seasonal hours are drawn from the real sunrise and sunset where you stand, so the app may read your position with Core Location (when-in-use only; never in the background), but only if you tap "Use my location".

Your coordinates are used only on your device to compute local sunrise, sunset and the seasonal hours. They are written to the app's own storage and never transmitted off the device, so under Apple's definition your location is not "collected". You can use Akhet without granting location. It falls back to a fixed reference instead.

Your cartouche

The name you type, your sound choices and any silent letters are stored on your device and shared with your own widgets and Apple Watch through a private App Group. They are never sent to us or to any server.

Purchases

Pharaoh mode is a single non-consumable purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We never receive your payment details or any personal information, only the anonymous fact that the app is unlocked, verified on your device.

Third-party services

Akhet uses no third-party services that collect data, and contains no analytics or advertising SDKs. Anything handled by the App Store is handled by Apple.

Data storage

Any settings stay on your device and are managed by you. Deleting the app removes everything. We hold no copy, because we never received one.

Children

Akhet collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date above.
