Hoisting times
Norway hoists at 08:00 from March to October and 09:00 in winter, but at 10:00 north of the Arctic Circle. The app works out which one applies to you.
Full, half or a third
Mourning is not one gesture. Half mast in most places, one third of the mast in Lithuania, full mast in Finland on its day of the fallen.

The details are where people get it wrong
Every country does it differently, and most websites flatten the differences into one rule that fits none of them. These four are all in the app, sourced and dated.
Norway hoists at 08:00 from March to October and 09:00 the rest of the year, except north of the Arctic Circle, where it is 10:00.
Latvia asks private homes to fly on ten days a year, and on days of mourning to add a black ribbon one twentieth of the flag's width.
Lithuania lowers the flag one third of the mast on days of mourning, not half.
Finland flies at full mast on its day of the fallen, which most websites get wrong.
